SFB Representative Needed
SFB Base Rep. Job Description:
Volunteer position to act as SFB Base liaison and key contact for SFB Membership, your N.T., TWU Leadership, and SFB Company Management/Staff.
Responsibilities include:
- *Receive and resolve Sanford Member issues. May involve dealing with local management and staff, sitting-in on discipline meetings and taking notes. If unable to resolve issue at a base level, Rep. will forward member and issue to N.T. Member Debra Petersen and/or TWU Rep. Kevin Barber for resolution at corporate level.
- *Maintain impeccable communication with N.T., TWU leadership and 577 Membership. Respond to Team and Member email and phone calls in a timely manner.
- *Support your Local. Keep informed on Local 577 updates & website posts and communicate with membership. Receive and distribute TWU Local 577 Newsletters, information, & promotional materials to Membership.
- *Representative required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement. All communications among the N.T., Membership and Management to be kept confidential.
Could result in paid hours should a Contract Campaign become necessary.
Time Commitment:
4-5 volunteer hours a week. Estimated.
